Located in the private community of Seadrift and surrounded by wood paneling galore, this ocean front property encapsulates the spirit of 1950s Stinson Beach.

Seadrift is a man-made lagoon that is an enclave of vacation homes for affluent families of San Francisco, located just 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. The house includes a master suite, and three free-standing guest suites connected by interior courtyards, covered patios and native plants.

The owners’ vision was to upgrade the house to modern environmental standards while maintaining the original aesthetic. CHA drew from its experience working with an array of projects environmentally delicate and historically significant in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Having the Pacific Ocean in the backyard, means frequent inclement and windy weather. The remodel includes a new radiant floor system throughout and upgraded windows in order to provide energy efficient interior comfort.
